Also, responsible to assist line manager to further develop Occupational Health and Safety Management System and oversee the effective implementation of health and safety strategies and procedures. Responsible to ensure that employees at all levels understand work health and safety requirements and expectations through provision of relevant QR Group induction, information, instruction, training and supervision. Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of job-related experience. Min bachelor's degree or equivalent with NEBOSH Diploma or Equivalent/NEBOSH IGC Fire safety qualifications Prior experience of implementing safety, health and fire strategies and policies Lead Auditors ISO 45001:2018 Experience and knowledge of aviation industry and facility management an advantage Experience or knowledge of working in the Gulf regions Graduate/Tech Member IOSH Command of English language Excellent understanding of Safety and Health principles and clear understanding of ISO45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System Good understanding of the principles of fire safety as detailed by the National Fire Protection Association [NFPA] Fluent in both written and spoken English with knowledge of Arabic being beneficial Good communication skills and instant credibility are essential to be able to inter-facing with a number of people from different nationalities and cultures Good grasp of report writing with attention to business requirements Excellent IT/PC Literate particularly in Excel, Word and PowerPoint Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members. Ability and experience of leading teams. (i.e. required to do the job successfully over time, can be trained or would be advantageous but not imperative) Experience to lead and manage teams across different countries.
