As Manager Data Governance - you will be responsible for overseeing development, implementation and maintenance of data governance frameworks and policies for the entire ERP Transformation project. You will plan and execute the data migration from current Oracle ERP system to new ERP system with respect to “master & transaction” data across all the ERP Transformation project streams. You will work closely with various departments to ensure compliance with data management regulations and standards, as well as to promote data quality, integrity and security across all data assets or systems in the ERP landscape.


Accountabilities


  • Develop Data Governance framework for QR processes: Finance, Procurement, HR, Retail Operations, Airport operations, etc., to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Contribute to ERP (Oracle Fusion) implementation strategy, including selecting and implementing appropriate ERP system data structure preparation and analysis for migration. 
  • Contribute to select/adopt/use tool-based data migration methodology in the ERP transformation program.
  • Design and deliver training programs to educate employees on data governance best practices.
  • Design and execute the data migration activities and lead the data stream of the program to ensure timely project execution and completion.
  • Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, including data quality standards, data ownership and stewardship to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.
  • Identify and engage key stakeholders across various departments (Finance, Procurement, HR, Retail Operations, Airport Operations, IT, etc.) to articulate the importance of data migration in ERP transformation project, address concerns and support in the process of data migration.
  • Foster culture of innovation, leveraging emerging technologies, best practices and creative solutions to transform processes and delivery value.
  • Drive business transformation, new ways of working with data and data structures and lead data change initiatives to achieve clarity, standardization and overall business efficiencies.
  • Contribute to the development of data governance tools and technologies to streamline processes within ERP Transformation Project.
  • Build and nurture partnerships with cross-functional departments, connecting them as ‘One Team’ to deliver the project as per the timeliness and accuracy.
  • Analyze existing use of legacy reporting platforms to plan for migration to new reporting platforms.
  • Define and monitor KPIs to evaluate the effectiveness of data management initiatives.
  • Build and maintain data glossary and reports repository for compliance.

About you 


  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent with Minimum 8 years of experience in data management, with at least 5 years in a data governance role
  • Proven experience in in influencing and collaborating with senior leadership
  • Command of English language, exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise and compelling messages tailored to diverse audiences
  • Strong understanding of data governance principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong understanding and exposure to ERP systems and enterprise solutions
  • Proficiency in utilizing various communication channels and tools including digital platforms to enhance engagement and reach
  • Experience in facilitating workshops (i.e., design thinking), focus groups or other collaborative sessions to gather feedback and drive alignment
  • Proficiency in Project Management methods/tools with ability to manage multiple initiatives concurrently
  • Sensitivity and awareness of organizational culture dynamics with experience in fostering inclusivity and navigating cultural nuances in communication and change initiatives
  • Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members

Preferred


  • Experience with data governance tools and technologies including Collibra, Informatica, TIBCO etc.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional)
  • Experience in industry specific regulations, compliance requirements or standards relevant to ERP transformation
  • Experience in working with multiple external partners
  • Expertise in software delivery best practice
  • Proven track record of successfully leading master data management initiatives in a complex organizational environment
  • Experience with master data management tools and technologies
