Job Description
We are seeking an experienced
Logistics and Store Supervisor to oversee inventory forecasting, procurement, stock management, and warehouse operations. The role involves ensuring accurate stock records, coordinating with internal teams, and optimizing inventory processes to support maintenance and supply chain operations.
Inventory Management & Forecasting:
+ Perform
Parts Consumption Analysis to determine required inventory stock levels.
+ Establish and maintain a
reliable inventory forecasting system for procurement planning.
+ Forecast and place
purchase orders based on consumption trends.
+ Maintain and update
Inventory Item Master List and
Obsolete Parts List.
Procurement & Supply Chain Coordination:
+ Maintain communication with the client’s
Supply Chain to ensure accurate open orders and controlled documentation.
+ Assist in administrative duties related to
procurement, including urgent part follow-ups.
+ Guide store staff in handling the return of
damaged or rejected assets.
Inventory Audits & Stock Control:
+ Schedule and oversee
cycle counts and special inventory audits.
+ Supervise actual counting, recounting, verification, research, and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies.
+ Ensure
computerized stock records are up-to-date and discrepancies are resolved.
Cross-Department Coordination:
+ Work closely with
Line & Base Maintenance Managers, Workshop Manager, IT, Finance, MCC, Main Stores, and other departments to address stock-related issues.
+ Liaise with the
ERP team to create and extract system-generated reports.
Administrative & Leadership Responsibilities:
+ Maintain organized and updated
paperwork and filing systems.
+ Perform duties of subordinates when they are on leave.
+ Lead and mentor
warehouse staff to ensure efficient inventory operations.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum
10 years in stock/inventory management, preferably in aviation or technical warehouse environments.
Certifications: Not mandatory but relevant inventory or logistics management training is an advantage.
Skills:
+ Strong knowledge of
inventory control and forecasting.+ Experience with
ERP systems and computerized stock management.
+ Excellent
problem-solving and analytical skills.
+ Strong
leadership and communication abilities.
+ Ability to work in a
fast-paced, high-demand environment.
Additional Information
