Lead HR Payroll & System Support Officer

Qatar Airways is pleased to announce an incredibly exciting opportunity to join our HR Team. This role will be accountable for accurate and timely processing of the Centralized Monthly payroll for QR Group while maintaining high levels of confidentiality of sensitive data in HRMS. Responsible for managing the daily operations of HR Payroll team and providing excellent customer service to Employees, Business units as well as any external stakeholders.
Support implementation of the enhancements of system processes, develop system specifications, arrive at test scenarios and conduct UAT in coordination with HR Systems and HR IT teams.

Key Responsibilities:



Responsible for Payroll administration and set up of new joiners for Management Staff. Accountable for validation of all salary revisions, staff deductions and reimbursements and all salary releases/ad hoc payments to ensure accuracy of payroll entries. Conducting audit checks by reviewing all payroll records to ensure compliance with employee contracts. Ensure processing of Payroll dashboards and exception reports as controls prior to monthly payroll closing to eliminate errors during payroll run process. Raising requests and liaising with IT for HRMS related issues and recommending system enhancements Respond and communicate effectively to queries with regards to payroll policies and procedures raised by various business units/stakeholders. Support/Assist the continuous processes development of the online HRMS payroll functions as per the Organizational requirements. Providing support to IT for accurate testing and implementation of new improvements/development projects. Liaising and communicating directly with staff and all business units for any payroll related queries. Effectively plan and ensure accurate implementation of any revisions/new pay elements in the QR Group pay matrix. Support audit requirements including gathering and analyzing data and supporting any special audit requests. Recommend and support integration of HRMS payroll functions with other units in the organization. Delivery of ad hoc report requirements from business stakeholders and management, ensuring sensitive data is handled with extreme confidentiality. Working closely with HR Remunerations, HR Administration, Talent Acquisition, HR Business Partnering and Finance payroll department to ensure accurate benefits and payment processing.

Qualifications



About You
We are looking for a passionate and experienced professional to join our HR Team who can recognize themselves in the points below.
Minimum qualification of bachelor’s degree or equivalent is essential. Minimum 4 year of relevant experience. Strong experience of handling queries and managing teams. Proven experience in demonstrating flexibility to meet the changing demands of the business. Ability to support Project Management preferred. Airline Industry payroll experience preferred. Computer literate with through knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Fluent in English language, both written & oral. Oracle HRMS expertise is required. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/tasks. Ability to foster team work. Continuous process improvement capability. Sound judgement, attention to detail, good problem solving and analytical skills. Excellent customer service and relationship management skills. Managerial skills - Ability to delegate work, set clear direction and manage workflow. Strong mentoring and coaching skills. Ability to train and develop subordinate's skills. Ability to foster teamwork among team members. Ability to work under pressure. Strong time management & organization skills. Experience in MS Visio or any Business process Management suites/software is required. Should have experience writing SOPs, process and procedures manuals for complex organizations. Working knowledge of SharePoint is required.
