IT Manager

A great opportunity to join as a IT Manager, at a luxury 5 star hotel in Doha

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software.
• Manage and mentor the IT team, providing guidance and support for their professional development.
• Ensure the security of the company’s IT systems, including data protection and disaster recovery plans.
• Develop and implement IT policies and best practices.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Manage IT budgets, including cost management and allocation of resources.
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement technology solutions that enhance business operations.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements to drive continuous improvement.
• Vendor management and negotiation for IT services and products.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Proven experience as an IT Manager in luxury or similar role in in GCC.
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
• Experience with IT budgeting and financial management.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership and team management experience.
• Knowledge of IT security practices and regulations.
