Job description
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Oil & Gas Services Qatar LLC
IT Engineer
- Take operational responsibility of offshore Telecom systems on COMPANY assets as defined in Section 6 Preventive and Corrective maintenance services
- Obsolescence Management Equipment repair
- Definition and maintenance of operating and maintenance procedures Planning of maintenance schedules
- Offshore stock and spare parts management
- Ad-hoc services to support specific telecom related activities
- Maintenance services are comprised of preventive and corrective maintenance. Following service descriptions are generic information about scope of the services. Exhibit A describes technical information of handled systems.
- Maintenance and ad-hoc services shall be delivered with respect and reference to system manufacturer recommendations, Operational Manuals and COMPANY procedures
- Shall ensure continuity regular preventive maintenance with following

Profile
Should have at least 10 years of experience in similar areas and positions Proven experience in oil and gas, offshore environments
Experience and strong knowledge in installation, operation and maintenance of the below systems:
4G/LTE
WIMAX
Microwave
Radio UHF/VHF Communications (including handheld units, base stations, repeaters and gateways) o Public Announcement and General Alarm (PA/GA) systems
Closed Circuit Television {CCTV) systems o Radar beacon (RACON)
Non-Directional beacons
Satellite communications (both data and voice) o TV Systems (both satellite and IP-based)
ATEX specific electronic and accessories installation (ATEX Zone 1hazardous area)
Basic Network configuration and test
Fiber optic cabling systems and copper data cabling systems, D/CWDM technology
Experience and strong knowledge in using maintenance tools, management software or applications related to systems mentioned above
Good level in MS Office application for documentation and reporting Meet HSE requirements and trainings
