Job Title: Instrument Supervisor

Location: Qatar

Experience: 4-5 Years

Salary: Depends Upon Experience

Main Responsibilities:

Supervise and oversee installation, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of instrumentation systems.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
Monitor and maintain instruments such as transmitters, controllers, analyzers, and control valves.
Conduct functional tests and loop checks to verify the accuracy and efficiency of instrumentation systems.
Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and other departments to ensure smooth operation of instrumentation and control systems.
Review and interpret P&ID diagrams, loop drawings, and control schematics.
Maintain documentation and records of instrument maintenance, calibration, and testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, PLC, and SCADA systems.
Conduct safety inspections and risk assessments to prevent equipment failures and hazards.
Train and mentor junior technicians on instrumentation best practices and procedures.

Essential Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
Certification in instrumentation and control (ISA, API, or equivalent) is preferred.
Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation, PLCs, SCADA systems, and DCS.

Skills Required:

Proficiency in calibration and troubleshooting of process control instruments.
Knowledge of automation systems, control loops, and field instrumentation.
Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams and technical manuals.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Hands-on experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation.
Familiarity with HSE regulations and risk assessment in instrument-related activities.
Good leadership and communication skills for coordinating with cross-functional teams.
