Responsible for ensuring practice of standard hygiene and food safety norms throughout Fresh Food Department and makes recommendations to the management on all matters relating to day to day and long term hygiene issues.
Propose and maintain minimum standards in all work areas, stores, receiving and disposal areas to adhere at all times to required hygiene standards.
Responsible for monitoring the section area being clean and orderly with an organized and efficient workflow.
To provide suitable and current information and supervision concerning health and safety policies and practices and implement HSE training at each section and conduct health and safety audit at each operation.
Act as a Point of contact to related government authorities.
Identify and create culture in staff such that incidents are voluntary reported to be effectively addressed at the earliest.
Supervise & conducts daily kitchen inspections on the personnel, environmental and food hygiene conditions and provides a corrective action plan and keeps records on the findings.
To ensure that proper and timely assessment of risks to health and safety in completed and preventive measures and arrangements are implemented as necessary.
Monitoring all food handlers to make sure that all handling tasks are properly & safely carried out.
Conducts proper assessment on employee need in terms of hygiene training and development and make possible recommendations to Food Hygiene Officer
Interaction with employees and keep track of the improvements.

Bachelor degree in Food Hygiene & Safety related field or equivalent experience
HACCP and HSE certifications
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the domain of food hygiene & safety.
Excellent knowledge in computer, including Word and Excel in a Microsoft Windows environment
Effective Oral and Communication Skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
