The opportunity
We are looking to appoint a hard working, self-motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the HR Team at Doha College.
You will be working in a friendly and supportive team and will be responsible for providing HR related services to Doha College staff and all other relevant stakeholders.
About you
You must have excellent organisational and administrative skills, a high level of spoken and written English, and the ability to cope with periods of pressure. You must commit to meeting deadlines.
To be successful, you will be experienced, measured and highly professional with attention to detail. You will be calm under pressure, able to demonstrate an ability to prioritise tasks, be highly motivated and personable, and be able to build strong relationships and communicate effectively with a range of different audiences.
You must act with integrity and have experience dealing with matters of a strictly confidential nature.
The offer
This is a non-sponsored hire so there are no remuneration benefits in addition to salary. What the offer provides is fair remuneration with the potential for significant increase through time, an especially warm and supportive community and great professional freedom. Reduced hours of work during school holidays provides balance to this busy role.
Salary: QR10,300/month on appointment, in addition to a QR150/month transportation allowance.
Work hours: Minimum 35 hours per week
Annual leave: 48 working days in total (30 days of annual leave plus 18 days for Qatari and British Public Holidays) rising to 53 working days after 5 years of continuous service.
School holiday working: There are 180 days of curricular-delivered content for pupils on dates approved by the Ministry of Education. Out of term-time, working is at a much more relaxed pace and the hours are reduced to 8am to 1pm.
