SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
As an HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality) Intern, you will be handling specific HSEQ tasks within all relevant areas, as well as contributing and supporting on matters of expertise, to ensure that Jotun operates in a safe way within applicable current regulations.
This is an Internship Program for 4 months based in Qatar and reports to the HSEQ Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with updating and maintaining safety and quality reporting systems for local operations.
- Support the preparation of Safety Key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Help with basic tasks related to risk assessments, internal audits and track follow-up actions.
- Assist in gathering information for investigations of incidents or accidents and ensure proper follow-up at local sites.
- Help organize and coordinate safety training sessions, awareness campaigns, and initiatives to promote a safety culture at local sites.
- Assist with the planning and coordination of emergency drills and crisis management exercises and help track any follow-up actions needed.
- Conduct Site Inspections and Near Miss Reporting/ Follow up.
- Planning of Safety Walks and Internal Audits.
- Processing of HSEQ related Purchase Requisitions.
- Assist with Work Permit Process.

- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- Interest/knowledge in HSEQ.
- Strong English communication skills.
