Reports To: Head of Policies and Quality Planning

Location: Qatar

Duration: Full-time

Job Purpose: The Specialist, IT Performance & Continuous Improvement, is responsible for enhancing IT processes to align with strategic objectives. This role focuses on performance measurement, process optimization, and boosting operational efficiency across IT functions. Key tasks include monitoring KPIs, analyzing data, and collaborating with IT section heads to drive improvements and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Performance Measurement & Monitoring:
  • Develop and implement frameworks to track IT process and service effectiveness.
  • Monitor performance metrics, analyze trends, and identify improvement areas.
  • Ensure performance goals align with IT and organizational objectives.
  1. Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
  • Lead efforts to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and process quality.
  • Identify optimization opportunities through data analysis and stakeholder feedback.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives with IT teams and relevant departments.
  1. Performance Reporting:
  • Create and maintain performance reports, providing insights to the Head of Policies and Quality Planning and the IT Governance Committee.
  • Ensure data accuracy and timeliness, supporting strategic decisions.
  • Offer recommendations for improvements based on performance data.
  1. Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration:
  • Engage with IT section heads to understand challenges and inefficiencies.
  • Facilitate collaboration to implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Guide IT staff in adopting performance improvement methodologies.
  1. Training and Awareness:
  • Develop and deliver training on improvement methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and ensure staff understand performance metrics.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Performance Measurement & Reporting: Number and accuracy of reports delivered.
  • Continuous Improvement Projects: Number and success rate of implemented initiatives.
  • Process Optimization: Number of optimized processes and reduction in inefficiencies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Frequency and satisfaction level of collaboration efforts.
  • Training and Knowledge Sharing: Number of training sessions and percentage of trained staff.

Key Relationships:

  • Internal: Head of Policies and Quality Planning, IT Governance Committee, IT Section Heads, IT staff.
  • External: Consultants and industry experts for benchmarking, partners for improvement methodologies.
