Job Title: Head Chef / Kitchen Chef
Location: Doha, Qatar
Package: up to 12,000 QAR per month, plus service charge
I'm currently supporting an amazing hospitality group, in Qatar, with their search for a Head Chef.
The group have a number of incredible concepts under their banner, and have been able to organically expand across the GCC region. That being said, they are now actively looking to bring on-board an experienced Head Chef/Kitchen Chef, to oversee all BOH & culinary operations for one of their leading premium/high-end Italian concepts over in Qatar.
You'll be responsible for leading a wider BOH team of 15, within an extremely vibrant & lively venue which runs up to 100 covers.
The role will be reporting to the wider Regional Group Chef, and in short you'll be responsible for overseeing and directing all aspects of the BOH & culinary operations. You'll be tasked on achieving an excellent standard of food quality and food presentation as well as managing the food costs in accordance with resort guidelines with regards to both quality and style of cuisine. You will also need to manage all aspects of the kitchen including purchasing, staffing, menu design and presentation.
We are looking for those who have successfully overseen BOH & culinary operations within high-end/fine dining venues in the past (with a strong focus on Mediterranean/Italian cuisine), and prior Middle Eastern/GCC experience is a must too.
