About the role


The Front Desk Receptionist welcomes guests to the property, providing an exceptional guest experience at check-in, during the guest’s stay and on departure. This roleworks to achieve the highest level of guest satisfaction during their arrival and departure, plus responding to a wide variety of guest requests, assessing guest needs, adding personal recommendations, and aligning withFour Seasons service standards.





The candidate must have a commitment and passion for ensuring the best in guest services and creating a welcoming first impression and lasting farewell.  This position reports to the Front Office Manager. This is a highly visible role representing Four Seasons Brand and managing the day-to-day operations.


What you will do


  • Handles all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible


  • Assistsguests in all inquiries in connection with hotel services, hours of operations, key hotel personnel, in-house events, directions, etc.


  • Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interactions with guest will be in person and by phone;


  • Resolves guest complaints, and find opportunities to recognize and personalize the serviceexperience for all guests 


  • Coordinates and liaises with various departments to ensure the hotel provides the highest level guest experiences
  • Meets and greets arriving and departing guests; Provides genuine hospitality and recognition, acts as host/ hostess
  • Acts as point of contact for in-house guests and local customers; provides individual assistance and accurate information
  • Maintains high visibility in the lobby and front desk area and provide assistance to our guests in a pro-active way
  • Keeps management informed of guest and staff-related incidents; represents senior management in their absence
  • Screens next day movements for special instructions to various departments
  • Ensures pending follow up action is communicated to the next shift
  • Assists with responsibilities and duties in the absence of or due to heavy volume in any Rooms Division area
  • Performs any other duties as assigned to him/her by management and is also able to work in all shifts
  • Assists with responsibilities in the absence of or due to heavy volume in the areas of the Concierge, Bell Staff, Guest Services and lobby coverage.
  • Works closely with Bell Staff to ensure smooth handling of guest luggage, deliveries and special requests
  • Adhere to Four Seasons Hotel’s standards as well as policies and procedures
  • Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in Employee Handbook
  • Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and direct superior

What you bring


  • Degree Holder, preferably in hotel & tourism management
  • 1-3 years of experience in Luxury Hotel / Resort setting
  • Excellent command in English, Arabic is an advantage
