The Marketing Coordinator is a critical addition to the dss+ GTM Marketing team, ensuring that the operational and logistical aspects of our marketing efforts run seamlessly, without delays and satisfy the intensity of the GTM services demand in the region. This role is pivotal in executing the tactical tasks that underpin successful Go-to-Market (GTM) strategies, freeing up senior marketing and GTM team members to focus on high-level strategic initiatives.


By taking ownership of the detailed execution of critical marketing operations, the Marketing Coordinator will enhance efficiency, ensure consistency, and help deliver impactful marketing initiatives that support business growth.


This role is offered on a freelance basis with an initial 3 month period to cover immediate project requirements and the likelihood of more work on a fractional basis going forward.


Among other things, as a Freelance Marketing Coordinator, you will be involved in delivering on the following:


Event Support


·       Upload events to the dss+ website, complete with descriptions, links, and relevant information.


·       Assist with managing event logistics, including scheduling, merchandise, display and coordination with vendors.


·       Provide on-the-ground or virtual support during events to ensure smooth execution.


Content creation support


·       Assist with the creation of tactical marketing assets like case studies, Points of View (POVs), industry brochures, ensure prompt feedback collection, asset preparation and launch logistics (image and text creation, web upload).


·       Provide first line of proofreading to ensure they are error-free and provide good content flow.


·       Support multimedia content creation, including Lumen videos and graphics.


·       Audit marketing materials according to the various criteria.


·       Own content process trackers to ensure all steps in the process are executed fully.


Data & Follow-Up Management


·       Track leads and campaign outcomes with accurate reporting.


·       Coordinate follow-up materials and ensure timely communication with the GTM team.


·       Compile performance reports to evaluate campaign effectiveness.

Administrative Support


·       Maintain and organise key documents in the GTM folder.


·       Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of marketing materials.


·       Create templates for reports, support with presentation creation, or email communications to standardise outputs.


·       Manage inventory of promotional merchandise and materials.



As a marketing specialist, you will have the following:


  • 3-5 years of experience with project coordination.


  • Good content writing and proofreading skills.


  • Good attention to detail.


  • Event coordination experience desirable.


  • Good project management skills.


  • Fluent in Arabic and English to a professional level


Ideally, you will be available at short notice to work on a freelance basis.
