Leads the accounting team with day-to-day responsibilities
Develop and manage cost accounting systems to track and analyze manufacturing costs.
Collaborate with the production and operations teams to ensure accurate cost allocations.
Establishing and maintaining internal controls that comply with business needs
Work with all functions to develop and implement key business processes and appropriate controls.
Coordinating and owning the budget process (actual vs. budget analysis)
Providing monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial ratios Manage the preparation and consolidation of the monthly financial statements.
Manage the audit and prepare the audit report with external corporate auditors.
Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Ensures general ledger accounts are maintained in accordance with general accepted accounting principles.
Manage all aspects of the tax reporting function, ensuring timely and accurate regulatory filings.
Coordinate with the company's tax advisors on all related aspects and management to develop and improve accounting policies, procedures, and information flow.
Monitor row material cost by job order and map bill of materials (BOM) objectives in line with managing the daily cash position, cash forecast, cash flow, and working capital reporting.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) would be a plus.
With at least 7 years' experience in a factory setting, with expertise in the wardrobe, kitchen, fit out, and joinery sectors in the GCC.
