As a Finance Analyst Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting processes. Working closely with experienced finance professionals, you will contribute to analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and supporting key decision-making efforts. This internship is designed to provide university students with practical exposure to the world of finance while enhancing your analytical and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and presentations.
Help analyze variances between actual and forecasted results.
Participate in data gathering and ensuring accuracy in financial statements.
Data Analysis:
Help analyze financial data and market trends.
Perform basic profitability analyses for products or business segments under supervision.
Assist in data input and management for financial planning.
Financial Planning:
Support the team in developing long-term financial strategies.
Assist in scenario analysis and risk assessments to help inform business decisions.
Collaborative Support:
Work with different teams to support financial analysis needs.
Help with ad-hoc analyses as required by the finance team.
Qualifications:
Education: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: Prior internship experience in finance or accounting (preferred but not required).
Skills:
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an interest in learning financial modeling.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
Eagerness to learn about financial regulations and accounting standards.
