Our client, a leading company in the field of electrical, wire production, and power cables, is looking for Electrical Maintenance Engineer.
Job Description:
Carryout applicator commissioning and capability studies record and evaluate results.
Carryout testing to customer specifications, record and evaluate results.
Carryout ageing testing using special purpose equipment, e.g. thermal shock chambers, temperature / humidity ovens, current cycling, dynamic stress, sectioning of crimps, etc.
To ensure care is taken during measurement and accurately recording of the results.
To ensure all activities comply with company procedures.
Responsible for setting up the universal applicator to include calculation and selection of blades and anvils.
To use measuring equipment to measure and check tooling against drawings and also angle of bend of terminal after crimping etc.
Assist the CST department in the development of tooling and processes.
Carry out other comparable duties as required by the Line Manager
