Job description
We currently have an opportunity within SPIE Global Services Energy Doha for a:
E&I Commissioning supervisor
Job Purpose:
- The Service holder to ensure that all HSSE, Quality and Technical contractual requirements are duly applied by Contractor and all Subcontractors. The Service holder organizes / participates to routine and/or random inspections and audits, to daily / regular construction meeting with Contractor and promotes safety awareness at all level through exemplary and pro-active attitude with Project team and Contractor (Subcontractors).
Your main duties will be to:
- Technically Supervise Commissioning activities and coordinate pre-commissioning activities related to Project.
- Supervises and coordinates Pre-commissioning & Commissioning activities for onshore and offshore works executed by CPY/CTR/ SCTR/VDR & pre commissioning & Commissioning team, in liaison with Construction team and Field Operations Team (FOPS).
- Responsible for preparation and running the E&I construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
- To participate in the risk analysis as required to ensure safe and timely execution of the works.
- Delivers offshore construction projects, ensuring that no additional remedial work is required.
- Ensure that all installation steps, pre-commissioning activities are properly completed for delivery ready for commissioning.
- Ensure that the Pre-commissioning planning schedule is implemented in line with commissioning planning and priorities.
- Ensure Commissioning team review and approve acceptance of the CPY/CTR/SCTR/VDR system / sub-system RFC & AOC dossiers on behalf of NOC.
- Ensure ICAPS Administrator generates progress reports and punch list items for each Pre-commissioning and Commissioning task.
Profile
- Ideally you have bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical / instrumentation discipline. Experience in similar position (years): minimum 10
- As a minimum, job holders must have extensive hands-on technical, project co-ordination and supervisory experience gained in an Offshore Project environment (Engineering, Construction, Precommissioning, Commissioning, startup, etc...).
