We are hiring a
Credit Controller who will be responsible for managing the company's credit policies, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, maintaining accurate records, and minimizing financial risks.
Full time position based in Doha, Qatar

What you’ll do:
Monitor and manage the company's accounts receivable.
Ensure timely collection of outstanding invoices from clients.
Follow up on overdue invoices through phone calls, emails, and written communication.
Implement effective credit control measures to minimize overdue debts.
Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients where necessary.
Evaluate new credit requests and conduct client credit checks.
Set credit limits based on creditworthiness and company policies.
Monitor and review existing customer credit limits and adjust as necessary.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all credit control activities.
Prepare regular reports on the status of outstanding debts and debtor balances.
Reconcile complex accounts and resolve any discrepancies or disputes.
Assist in developing and implementing credit control policies and procedures.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
Work closely with the sales team to address credit-related issues and support customer relationships.
Liaise with the finance team to ensure accurate allocation of payments and reconciliation of accounts.
Collaborate with legal and collections teams to address severe delinquent accounts.
Track and report on key credit control metrics, such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and overdue accounts.
Identify trends and recommend actions to improve credit control processes.
You’ll have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor Degree in Finance or equivalent qualifications
Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
Experience with credit management systems and financial software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Infor).
