JOB PURPOSE: This role leads a team of supervisors, technicians and outsourced vendors to undertake all preventive/corrective maintenance and improvement works to ensure that the facilities and civil assets are in good working conditions with minimum disruption to airport operations.
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Assist in the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation Conduct site inspections and prepare comprehensive reports on the progress and quality of construction work Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, including troubleshooting and problem-solving Participate in the development and implementation of project schedules, budgets, and risk management plans Monitor and ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering processes and procedures
Qualifications
About you: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Civil Technical Officer or in a similar technical role Strong working knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methods, and project management techniques Proficient in the use of AutoCAD, BIM software, and other engineering design tools Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards * Airport experience advantageous
