Role Summary / Purpose



The Business Development Engineer will be responsible for TGT sales and operational support activities across Qatar for various customers and partner companies. Additionally, the role involves acting as a logging engineer to deliver high-quality services to clients, both onshore and offshore, as needed.
The role includes ensuring the preparation and availability of equipment for operations, adhering to QHSE (Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment) standards, and managing service quality. The candidate will establish relationships with E&P companies, identify opportunities for well integrity and downhole flow management services, and drive growth through both callout and campaign-based service delivery. This also includes market analysis, tender tracking, and ensuring the delivery of services meets client expectations.

Essential Responsibilities



Plan and coordinate well-site operations, ensuring adherence to all safety regulations and QHSE standards.
Conduct well-site operations, delivering services to client satisfaction both onshore and offshore, as required.
Ensure equipment readiness and availability for operations, maintaining tools in a neat and workable condition.
Draft, prepare, and submit all logs and required reports promptly, either onsite or upon return to the office, as per company and client requirements.
Maintain customer relationships by building confidence in service quality and ensuring confidentiality of logging operations.
Communicate directly with client representatives throughout operations, interpreting services and addressing queries.
Maintain knowledge of the latest technological advancements, equipment, and tools to ensure optimal operational efficiency.
Proactively identify target organizations and establish communications with businesses that can benefit from TGT services.
Deliver technical and commercial proposals to customers and close sales to increase market share and profitability.
Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, operational challenges, and opportunities to align with TGT’s capabilities.
Expand TGT Diagnostics’ presence within the assigned market by identifying new business leads and growth opportunities.
Track tenders and field studies advertised by E&P companies, prepare proposals, and ensure timely submissions.
Follow up with client’s post-tender submission, maintaining dialogue through to close-out.
Manage sales forecasts and opportunities using Salesforce, updating activities weekly to ensure accurate tracking.
Collaborate with customers and TGT’s communications team to develop case studies and marketing materials.
Ensure compliance with the Company Code of Conduct and Integrity guidelines in all business activities.
Adhere to all HSE regulations for onshore and offshore operations, ensuring safety and environmental compliance.

Qualifications



Bachelor’s degree in Reservoir Engineering or Petroleum Engineering from an accredited institution.
At least 3 years of experience with downhole logging equipment in the oil and gas industry.
Experience in cased-hole logging and technical sales/client-facing roles is preferred.
Ability to pass offshore/onshore medical requirements.
Willingness to travel and relocate as needed for business requirements.
Must be a resident of Qatar.
Travel: Up to 20% for business trips to GCC countries as per business needs
