Responsibilities:


  • Process Mapping & Analysis:
    • Work closely with city management and operations teams to document and analyze current processes ("as is" state) across various functional areas, including public safety, traffic management, waste management, and more.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist in developing optimized workflows ("to be" state) for smart city integration.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Engage with key stakeholders from different city departments to gather detailed requirements and ensure a thorough understanding of their operational needs.
    • Facilitate workshops and meetings to validate findings and propose solutions that align with stakeholder objectives.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation of business processes, workflows, and operational concepts.
    • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders and project management teams to communicate findings and progress.
  • Support Development & Implementation:
    • Collaborate with the software development team to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
    • Provide support during the implementation phase, ensuring that the developed solutions meet the operational requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Monitor and review the effectiveness of implemented processes and systems, providing feedback and recommendations for further enhancements.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:


  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, process mapping, or a related role. Experience in city operations, municipal services, or smart city projects is highly desirable.
    • Familiarity with business process modeling tools and techniques (e.g., BPMN, flowcharts) is an advantage.
    • Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and project management practices.
  • Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically about complex processes.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
    • Attention to detail and a strong commitment to accuracy and quality in all work.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Experience in city operations and management.
  • Familiarity with smart city technologies, IoT, or digital transformation projects.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.
