Building Information Modeling Manager

About the role:

As a BIM Manager, you will be responsible for helping us achieve full BIM implementation through:

•    Promoting and enforcing BIM implementation to ensure that the use of digital technologies and processes are maximized for the benefit of Qatar Airways, CPD and project.
•    Developing /maintaining BIM requirements and project standards, and disseminating these to all involved parties
•    Maintaining and monitoring the Master Information Delivery Plan
•    Receiving BIM submissions and auditing their compliance with the project submission requirements
•    Reporting on BIM Model clashes and discrepancies and ensuring that the raised issues are followed up on and resolved
•    Establishing and updating CPDs department’s BIM standards
•    Managing the use of BIM by all teams within the department (CPD), including BIM use (data extraction) tuition and mentoring for Technical, Contracts and Commercial Teams.
•    Managing and evaluating Consultant’s and Contractors BIM Deliverables.
•    Reviewing federated project BIM models for: 3D coordination (clash detection), Level of Development / Detail (LOD) and Compliance with requirements

About you:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Engineering.
• 6+ years AEC experience in BIM Management and Implementation
• Certification in Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks
• Good knowledge and skills in AutoCAD, Oracle Aconex, and CDE (Common Data Environment) uses and processes.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of quality and document management processes
