Description
Position at Al Jazeera Media Network Broadcast IT Engineer As the Broadcast IT Engineer you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Networks Broadcast Systems Globally. You will be working with fast-paced highly collaborative team dealing with system failures, security attacks, system outages etc. Continuous support and configuration to ensure core systems are stable with optimal performance. You will also be responsible for monitoring activity, such as server usage, temperatures etc.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain the Networks Broadcast Systems stability and performance at Doha and Global locations and resolve any impact to service, ensure key performance indicators, and service level agreements are met.
Identify and resolve faults, incidents, problems, service requests and change requests from the Networks Service Desk in a professional manner to agreed service levels.
React to security incidents by performing necessary operations as determined by the Incident Response team.
Education:
Bachelor or higher in IT, Computer Science or related field or exceptional prior experience
Broadcast Engineer certification by Society of Broadcast Engineers preferred
Experience:
4+ years experience in Broadcast and Technology domain desired
