You‘ll make an impact with
following skills:
- Application expertise
for Automation, Field Instruments and Networking components.
- Consistently
deliver high quality, accurate and timely bids.
- Identify potential
risks in bids and provide relevant information and/or participates in the LOA
process according to internal guidelines.
- Engage in bid
preparation of proposals for standard solutions and innovative solutions based
on Siemens Process Automation portfolio.
- Ensures all
proposals comply with Siemens procedures and guidelines and legal requirements.
- Offer technical
advice and solutions to customer inquiries from customers and Sales Specialists
regarding Siemens products.
- Provide technical
and sales support on products for the projects, including bidding, customer
visits and product specification development.
- Present the
company’s portfolio to clients and secure approvals for products and solutions.
- Collaborate closely
with customers during the FEED stage to offer technical guidance and position
Siemens as their preferred partner.
- Work with the execution
team during pre-bid and bidding stages to review requirement specifications and
prepare technical specifications for customer offer.
- Develops, design,
and complete technical aspects of customer proposals.
- Manage and clearly
document customer requirements and ensure compliance throughout the bid phase
to maintain scope clarity and align customer expectations.
- Conduct site
surveys to thoroughly understand customer requirements.
- Prepare cost
calculations, including commercial risk assessments and quantifications,
coordination with commercial partners.
- Manage inbound
customer inquiries, particularly technical Q&A’s, RFI’s and related
clarifications relating.
- Perform technical
analyses and support the proposal process at any stage as part of the sales
team.
- Support the sales
team with customer care initiatives, presentations and events as needed.
- Establish and foster
strong relationships and effective networks both internally and externally.
Your success is grounded in- You should already
have at least 7-8 years significant experience in similar sales and Bid
Management function with the following qualifications / skills.
- Bachelor/ master’s
degree in electrical / automation / electronics / computer science/mechatronics
engineering, or technical high school Diploma.
- Extensive and strong
experience in bidding for O&G and Petrochemical customers in Qatar or with
the likes of all major O&G end users in Middle East.
- Project proposals experience
for high end automation solutions with reputed international firms.
- Good technical
knowhow on PLC, DCS, Field instruments and Networking components.
- Significant working
experience with consultants operating in O&G in Qatar.
- Strong customer
focus.
- Passionate and
curios in discovering always new opportunities.
- Continuous learning
new technologies.
- Proven track record
in creating strong technical and commercial proposals.
- Fundamental
know-how in Digitalization, e.g., IoT and AI
- Always strive to
develop technology and ethical guardrails in parallel.
