Position at Al Jazeera Media Network
Al Jazeera Mubasher Channel are seeking to hire an Assistant Producer who will be responsible in assisting and preparing News Material to the production stage. Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the editorial meeting and propose ideas on what news stories need more coverage and content development.
Preparing the video related to daily events and editing it with the editor to be on air.
Read in and have an overview of international updates through all available sources (news wires, other agencies, newspapers ...etc.).
Providing the production desk with a news and videos about events.
Preparing the floating footage.
Search for archives from different sources.
Following up the sources of news agencies (news and videos). such as APTN,Reuters,AFP,...etc
Attending the editing of material coming from offices and correspodents.rm other duties relevant to the job as requested.
Education:
Minimum Bachelor Degree in Journalism, Media, Communication or other related fields
Experience:
Minimum 1 year of professional experience in related field.
