Conduct on-site inspections to monitor the progress and quality of architectural work, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and Qatar construction regulations.
Supervise and inspect the execution of construction works, ensuring that the design intent, construction quality, and safety standards are maintained throughout the project lifecycle.
Review architectural drawings, plans, and specifications to ensure construction activities comply with established guidelines and requirements.
Identify and address potential construction issues or deviations from the approved plans, designs, and standards, and provide timely recommendations to resolve them.
Prepare detailed inspection reports and document any non-compliance or discrepancies, and follow up to ensure corrective actions are implemented.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution and timely completion of projects.
Monitor the quality of materials and workmanship on-site, ensuring compliance with the projects specifications and industry best practices.
Verify compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines as per Qatars regulations.
Assist in the review and approval of shop drawings, materials submittals, and other relevant project documents.
Provide technical support and guidance to construction teams during project implementation
Key Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Architectural Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 10 years of hands-on experience in architectural inspection, construction supervision, or a similar role within the building industry.
Proven experience in supervising and managing construction and architectural projects.
Strong understanding of architectural drawings, building codes, and local construction regulations in Qatar.
Proficient in identifying construction issues or deviations from project plans and specifications and suggesting corrective actions.
Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
Proficient in MS Office Suite, construction management software, and other relevant tools.
MMUP (Municipal Planning and Urban Development Authority) and UPDA (Unified Planning and Development Authority) certification is preferred.
