We are currently seeking an AP Accountant, reporting directly to Finance Manager to join our Finance and Account team based in Doha, Qatar.


About the Job


  • Upload invoices into the ERP system, ensuring all necessary details are captured.
  • Monitor the status of invoices, ensuring they are processed in a timely manner. Follow up on any discrepancies or delays to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Process payments in accordance with established payment terms, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Liaise with the Treasury department to facilitate bank uploads and resolve any issues related to payment processing.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers regarding invoicing and payment matters. Address and resolve any queries or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of intercompany accounts to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage withholding tax payments and perform reconciliations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Record and reconcile credit card transactions, ensuring all charges are accurately accounted for.
  • Maintain records of bank guarantees, including issuance and associated charges. Ensure all guarantees are tracked and recorded accurately.
  • Monitor and ensure timely payment of monthly utility bills, avoiding any service disruptions.
  • Assist in forecasting medium- and long-term funding and hedging requirements, providing insights and recommendations where applicable.
  • Assist in the preparation and execution of quarterly and annual financial closings, ensuring all accounts are accurately reconciled.
  • Provide support during internal and external audits, including the preparation of necessary documentation and responding to audit inquiries.
  • Forecast medium- and long-term funding and hedging requirements, where applicable.
  • Assist in quarterly and annual financial closings.

About You


  • 5-8 Years of Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
