Your Role The Aerospace (AOG) Customer Care Specialist is responsible for managing the coordination and communication of airfreight AOG shipments. This role operates on a 24/7 rotational shift, ensuring prompt handling of requests both during and outside regular business hours. The specialist will engage with internal and external customers, providing dedicated support for urgent shipments to ensure seamless logistics operations. Your Responsibilities
Main point of contact for the customer and well as Kuehne+Nagel other stations on 24/7 rotational basis shift.
Handling all day to day operational/communication/Customer Service related matters and direct to relevant parties.
Assisting customers as well as Kuehne+Nagel colleagues with their enquiries and have a proactive response & ensure communication is precise and received in a timely manner.
Pro-actively plan and coordinate aviation shipments.(Import and Export, end to end responsibility)
Building strong customer relationships and ensure that customer requirements are met.
Follow guidelines and implement standard operation procedures, defined and issued by management.
Constantly review and optimize aviation process flow and SOP.
Producing monthly, quarterly, and other ad-hoc reports as required by the National management.
Ensure maintenance of high standards of customer care, i.e. ensuring that the client is served professionally, introducing local SOP’s. Working in tandem with the various Business Field Operations Managers.
Damage reporting/Claim reporting.
Timely processing of invoices, in line with the internal Finance Controlling regulations.
To ensure cost accruals are made correctly to increase/improve FSL auto closing.
Report to work afterhours, on weekends and holidays for emergencies (AOG) when required.
