The Admissions Coordinator should be a
caring, inspirational, passionate, adaptable, creative and innovative staff
member. He/She should be an outstanding administrator able to manage the
admissions process from start to finish. An excellent communicator with great
interpersonal skills, and should be capable of ensuring that both recruitment
and enrolment of new students goes through transparent process, consistent
methods that aligns with ISLQatar guiding statement. He/she should be able to
run the daily operations of the Admissions Department and bringing new ideas
and perspectives to the admissions process.
Requirements1. Qualifications. 1.1 Bachelor’s degree in administration or equivalent 1.2 Minimum of 3 years admissions experience 1.3 Proficiency in English written and spoken. proficiency in the Arabic language is a plus. 2. Knowledge and Skills. He/She should: 2.1 be aligned with the ISL values of diversity, passion, identity and understanding 2.2 have excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with prospective students and their families, internal stakeholders, and the wider community. 2.3 should be able to build rapport and maintain relationships with prospective students, families, and other stakeholders, by being approachable, empathetic, and attentive to their needs. 2.4 should be detail-oriented and organized, ensuring that all admissions-related tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. 2.5 have the ability to identify problems and develop creative solutions to improve the admissions process. 2.6 have absolute discretion in handling confidential information 2.7 should be proficient in using admissions software and databases, as well as other technology tools to facilitate the admissions process. 2.8 should work well in a team, collaborating with other members of the Advancement Department, as well as with other departments and stakeholders within the institution. 2.9 able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritizing tasks effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks. 2.10 have a strong customer service mindset, providing excellent service to prospective students and their families throughout the admissions process. 3. Responsibilities. He/She will be responsible for: 3.1 fostering the values, dispositions, behaviours, attitudes and attributes of the ISL Qatar guiding statements and IB learner profile 3.2 Supporting the admissions process and supporting families from inquiry through induction to the school. This includes responding to inquiries, conducting interviews/assessment and campus tours, managing the application process, liaising with Principals and other stakeholders, and supporting families through to their first days of school. 3.3 Working to agreed enrolment targets, with a commitment to continuous improvement. 3.4 Working with the Open Apply database system, ensuring the content is accurate and up to date. 3.5 Being an advocate for prospective families, while prioritizing the best interests of the school and community. 3.6 Defining the experience for families transitioning into school at different stages of the school year and identifying opportunities for further improvement. 3.7 Working alongside other members of the Advancement team to ensure that the experience of new and leaving families is coherent and meaningful throughout. 3.8 designing an exit process for student withdrawals in coordination with the school counsellor. 3.9 Implementing and designing the tour map and updating it regularly. 3.10 projecting Admissions calendar dates example, Open Morning, Admissions Season, campaigns, etc 3.11 Coordinating the school’s re-enrolment process.
