In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient appointments, verifying insurance coverage, and ensuring seamless coordination between scheduling and insurance verification. Responsibilities:
- Appointment Scheduling: Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently.
- Insurance Verification: Verify and check patient insurance coverage to ensure eligibility.
- Calendar Management: Update and manage appointment calendars to avoid conflicts and optimize scheduling.
- Email Management: Monitor inboxes, draft responses, and ensure timely follow-ups.
- Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between patients, providers, and insurance companies to facilitate a smooth experience.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient appointments, communications, and insurance details.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1-2 years in patient scheduling, medical administration, or insurance verification.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in scheduling software, email management, and basic data entry tools.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; certifications in healthcare administration are a plus.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively.

You’ll also keep records updated and assist in optimizing the scheduling process. You will also manage the executive's calendar and their emails as well.
