Responsibilities:

You will be responsible to:

• conduct quality procedures in compliance with the standards of international practice and specific departmental protocols.
• work with the team to ensure proper material and supplies are available for testing, log equipment problems and keep all machines in proper working condition.
• assist in teaching of trainee technologists and junior staff.
• participate in in-service training and orientation of new staff.
• ensure that the prescribed safety, infection control, sedation and electrical safety standards are observed.
• maintain confidentiality and privacy of patients during the procedures as per need.

Requirements:

You should have:

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Science, preferably a Masters’ degree
• Completed an approved Neurophysiology technologist training programme
• Preferably one year of related work experience and exposure in acute care hospital setting
• Experience of conducting Sleep studies, Intra Operative Monitoring and Long EEG Monitoring would be preferable
• Good interpersonal skills, particularly communication skills
• Ability to effectively work independently as well as in teams
• Willingness to work in three shifts including weekends and on-call duties.
