Position Title: Technical Recruiter

Timings:4:00pm - 1:00am

Location: Ikonic, Plot # 349 St 1, I-9/3 Islamabad, 44000

Position Purpose:

IKONIC is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Recruiter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge and understanding of technical recruitment processes and strategies. As a Technical Recruiter, your responsibilities will include sourcing, screening, and providing a shortlist of qualified candidates for various technical roles. You will also network both online and offline with potential candidates to promote our employer brand, reduce time-to-hire, and ensure we attract the best professionals. Ultimately, you will build a strong tech talent pipeline and help hire and retain skilled employees for our IT positions.

Education & Professional Qualification:

  • Degree(s)/Major(s): Bachelors or Masters in a relevant field from a reputed local/foreign University.
  • Certification(s): Not mandatory, but certification in a relevant field is a plus.
Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the same capacity in a well reputed organization.
  • Experience recruiting for various technical stacks (e.g., MEAN,MERN, Python,Al/Ml JavaScript, etc.).
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and modern technologies.
  • Familiarity with compensation structures in technical fields.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; reviews job descriptions for vacancies.
  • Assisting with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions.
  • Identifying the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting candidates.
  • Drafting recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions.
  • Identifying appropriate candidates and assessing their qualifications through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications.
  • Connecting qualified candidates with hiring managers.
  • Maintaining contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications.
  • Vetting potential employees' credentials.
  • Providing advice to hiring managers regarding salary negotiations with final candidates.
  • Offering job positions and completing the relevant paperwork.
  • Keeping track of all applicants as well as keeping applicants informed on the application process.
  • Facilitates contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace.
  • Leading employer branding initiatives
  • Organizing and attending job fairs and recruitment events
  • Forecasting quarterly and annual hiring needs by department
  • Foster long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
  • Performing other related duties as assigned.


Requirements
  • Knowledge of full-cycle recruitment using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • Strong knowledge of technical roles, including software engineers, developers, system administrators, and IT professionals..
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough understanding of technology, technical roles and technical skills.
  • Thorough understanding of recruiting methods and best practices, as well as applicable policies and federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Technical expertise with an ability to understand and explain job requirements for IT roles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
