Come, join us on this journey!What You Will be Accountable ForSchedule & control PMD operations effectively to achieve daily and monthly production target. Ensure minimum downtime and smooth runability of machines to achieve Master Production Schedule target.Ensure manufacturing of high quality product by meeting/exceeding quality targets in terms of Q2S,Q2C & COPS by following agreed quality processes. Improve processes to reduce/eliminate market complaints and to ensure product integrity.Coordinate and support all maintenance activities to ensure running of machines and reduction in downtimes. Ensure presence of machine crew on the machine to facilitate maintenance related activities. Provide full support to maintenance team to ensure timely completion of maintenance activities.LeadershipSeek continuous learning and development opportunities for self and team members.Engage and motivate shift team to perform at their best to achieve departmental objectives. Organize team building activities to celebrate, recognise and reward the performers. Identify training needs of machine crew to bridge skill gap and develop multiskilling to ensure smooth operations on floor.ManagementMonitor and ensure the compliance of Company EH&S policies on shop floor to provide safe and healthy work environment. Facilitate training of all shop floor employees on EH&S standards by coordinating with EH&S manager. Ensure that all guards and interlocks are in working condition.Ensuring all EH&S Inspections of Guarding, PPE’s, Ladder and Catwalks is completed as per the schedule.Ensure tracking of EH&S compliance in DDS and WDS.Context/EnvironmentThe jobholder reports to the PMD Cell Manager and is responsible for:PMD operations aiming to achieve the specified production and quality targets. Primary Manufacturing operates in three shifts six days a week. Shifts are managed by both skilled and semi-skilled workforce with low literacy level represented by CBA.Manage sample manufacture effectively without hindering routine processing as and when requiredActive engagement of key CBA representatives.Knowledge, Skills & ExperienceUniversity degree/ Diploma with 1-2 years experience of Operations Management to handle maintenance as well as operational activities. Should be self-motivated and possess initiative, drive and leadership abilities to lead a team with Decision Making as well as Resource Management skills. Must possess effective interpersonal and influencing skills. Should exhibit leadership and management skills.
