Aga Khan University invites applications for the position of Teaching Associates in the Department of Biological and Biomedical Sciences.

This is a short term contractual position.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

• contributing to the undergraduate teaching of MBBS program of the university.
• facilitating in PBL and small group tutorial sessions
• facilitating Year 1 and 2 Clinical Skills sessions
• facilitating Longitudinal Themes in end-of-year OSCEs
• providing academic counseling and support in the Foundation semester for Year 1 students
• actively participating in marking module practical assessment papers, invigilation of module assessments and in setting up of exam papers
• participating in refinement of the curriculum and its assessment methods
• preparing and reviewing cases and questions according to the curriculum objectives
• participating actively in laboratory and tutorial teaching
• participating in departmental research.

You should have:

• an MBBS degree and a vivid interest in the teaching of basic and biomedical sciences. 
• Successful candidates should commit to hold the Teaching Associate position for at least one full academic year.
