A preferred advisor to leading Fortune 500 brands, Nisum enables clients to achieve direct business growth by building the advanced technology they need to reach end customers in today’s world, with immersive and seamless experiences across digital and physical channels.What You'll DoDuties include but are not limited to:Analyze, design, develop, document, test, and deploy BI solutionsTranslate data into meaningful operational insightsEnhance and support existing solutionsTranslate business needs to technical specificationsCreate engaging visualizations and reports for requested projectsMaintain and support the analytics platformDevelop and execute database queries and conduct analysesDevelop and maintain technical documentationImplement best practices for optimum use, performance, and maintainabilityWhat You KnowA Minimum 5 years of experience with data visualization tools (Tableau strongly preferred)A passion for visually communicating insights from dataStrong understanding of data warehousing, OLAP concepts, and optimal data formats forvisualization toolsStrong SQL skillsProficient with at least one programming/scripting language (preferably Python)Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and how it pertains to dataExperience with troubleshooting and performance optimizationProficiency in working in an Agile and collaborative team environmentBachelor in Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience in the Life Sciences fieldFamiliarity with healthcare, pharmaceutical development and/or clinical trials preferred.Have basic database knowledge.Skills/Competencies Ability to present meaningful insights to stakeholders via dashboards, charts, and graphs.Strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of theorganizationHigh level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientationAble to translate goals into achievable stepsStrong collaborative team playerAbility to effectively handle multiple tasks and ability to adapt to changes in workload andprioritiesExcellent planning, prioritization, and organizational skills.Have basic knowledge of AWS database access or Snowflake.Be able to write SQL queries.Knowledge of a visualization tool such as Tableau(preferred).
