Specifically, you will be responsible to:
- directing and prioritizing the team’s efforts to attend breakdown maintenance activities for critical and essential equipment promptly and efficiently.
- supervising and managing the execution of preventive maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with schedules and standards.
- addressing the operational problems independently, providing effective solutions for critical and essential electrical systems.
- inspect electrical substations and related installations daily, ensuring minimal breakdowns and optimal performance.
- provide on-the-job training and technical guidance to junior staff to enhance their knowledge, skills, and productivity.
- coordinate with other sections of the maintenance department to ensure smooth operation of all equipment across the facility.
- foster a culture of safety by promoting best practices, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and addressing hazards proactively.
- maintain records of maintenance activities, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with the management team.
- perform any other tasks assigned by higher management to support departmental operations and objectives.
Requirements
- 04-06 years related work experience including 2-3 years of supervisory experience
- Matriculate / Intermediate
- Diploma in Electrical Technology from a recognized institute (preferred)
- Supervisory License (preferred)
- Solar System experience (preferred)
