Job Purpose


As a Strategic Key Accounts Lead, you will be responsible leading the team of corporate sales managers and managing the assigned region to develop and maintain strong business relationships with key stakeholders in the corporate sector and key accounts.


The primary focus of the role will be on maximizing the commercial potential of our product portfolio within assigned key accounts, which may include large hospital systems, Corporates, pharmacy chains, insurance companies, and other healthcare entities.


Education, Experience & Skills


  • Batchelor’s or Master’s degree in Sales & Marketing.


  • 5 or more years in Corporates/pharmaceutical/B2B sales/ Marketing


  • Considerable knowledge of marketing products or services


  • Incisive analytical and strategic skills


  • Strong communication (written and oral) skills


Key Responsibilities


  • Developing and implementing strategic account strategies to ensure optimal patient access to GSK products.


  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders, such as sales, marketing, and medical affairs teams, to align Key account strategies with business objectives.


  • Engaging with external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, corporates, and payers, to understand their needs and address any barriers to patient access.


  • Monitoring and analyzing market trends, healthcare policies, pricing, and reimbursement regulations to identify opportunities and risks.


  • Advocating for patients by providing evidence-based value propositions and supporting the local adaptation of global health economic models.


  • Identifying potential sources of funding (public/private) and developing tailored solutions/value proposition to unlock funding for patients.


  • Engaging with key opinion leaders and policy-makers to disseminate localized value messages to ensure they are well-informed about GSK products before making funding decisions.


  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry guidelines during pricing and market access processes


  • Lead and develop the corporate sales team’s capabilities to create a high-performance culture.


  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base within key accounts.


  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.


  • Understand the specific needs, dynamics, and procurement processes of each key account.
