Sr. Revenue Specialist

Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Revenue Specialist to join our finance team. This role will be pivotal in managing complex revenue processes, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing strategic insights to enhance revenue performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in revenue management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Revenue Recognition: Lead the implementation and adherence to revenue recognition policies in accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Revenue Analysis: Conduct in-depth analyses of revenue trends, forecasting, and variances, providing actionable insights to senior management.
• Reporting Leadership: Prepare comprehensive revenue reports and presentations for executive leadership, highlighting performance metrics and strategic recommendations.
• Cross-Department Collaboration: Collaborate with sales, marketing, and operations teams to develop revenue strategies, enhance forecasting accuracy, and improve overall revenue cycle efficiency.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement best practices for revenue management processes, driving efficiency and accuracy across the organization.
• Audit and Compliance: Lead internal and external audits related to revenue, ensuring compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Mentorship and Training: Mentor junior team members and provide training on revenue processes and systems, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; masters degree or relevant certification (Party qualified CA, ACCA) is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in revenue management, accounting, or finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a senior or leadership role.
• Expert knowledge of accounting principles, revenue recognition standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in financial software and tools (e.g., ERP systems, Excel, data analytics tools).
• Exceptional analytical skills with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in IT and Cloud industry.
• Familiarity with advanced financial modeling and data analysis techniques.
• Knowledge of Dynamics SL, Salesforce, NetSuite etc.
