About the role
As a Sr. Assistant Manager Last Mile, you'll be overseeing the last mile delivery operations in the fulfillment center/warehouse, ensuring all processes align with company policies and are executed accurately. The position also involves collaborating with other teams to ensure timely stock replenishments, as well as training and supervising staff. A strong understanding of inventory management systems (WMS) and a focus on optimizing procedures to minimize losses are key aspects of the role.
Job Responsibilities
- Delivery Operations Management: Oversee daily last-mile delivery operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to meet customer expectations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and guide Shaheens and Executives, providing necessary training and support to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
- Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery time, customer satisfaction, and delivery accuracy; identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Route Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize delivery routes, reducing transit time and fuel costs.
- Vendor & Partner Coordination: Collaborate with external delivery partners and vendors to align with company standards and resolve operational challenges.
- Reporting: Prepare and present reports on delivery performance, including delays, issues, and successful deliveries, for management review.
- Cost Management: Manage and control the budget for last-mile operations, seeking cost-saving opportunities without compromising service quality.
You must have
- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 or 3 years of experience in logistics or last-mile delivery management.
