Job Role / Responsibilities:


You be reporting to Manager, Solutions & Innovation or nomination purposed by AKU Director Solutions & Innovation. a senior resource that is capable to understand customer needs and translating them into customer-centric solution. You are expected to be capable to design, develop and deliver custom SharePoint solutions, workflows and components ensuring their reusability and scalability. You will have to carry out feasibility studies and cost/benefit analysis and to formulate proposals for system enhancement, and implementation plans. Research analyze and select technical approaches for solving difficult and challenging developments and integration problems. Share best practices and development approaches with team members.  


Specifically, you will be responsible to


  • leading and coordinating software application development, implementation, and maintenance.
  • leading business requirements analysis activity and participate in study, analysis, and design of systems. you should be capable of detailed coding. should participate in the coding process to a reasonable level.
  • leading and coordinating the maintenance of applications systems and related documentation.
  • learning appropriate software development tools in use at software development & support, IT.
  • working with major customer for understanding requirements, evaluating existing process and apps.
  • evaluating of existing process workflows to provide the best possible solution.
  • independently handling day to day complex operational issues / systems.
  • contributing in developing new procedures / processes through innovation.
  • ensuring effective and efficient flow of services and resources.
  • identifying issues and take decisions in consultation with manager (where required) in accordance with the policies & procedures.
  • coordinating with others / sections / departments to deliver results.

Eligibility Criteria / Requirements: The incumbent should have 


  • a degree in Computer Science or related disciplines such as Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, MBA in MIS or equivalent
  • professional certifications in relevant field will be considered as an added advantage
  • at least 5 years of proven prior experience in web development
  • technology upgrade and SharePoint migration project experience
  • hands on SharePoint experience for developing public facing website and portal
  • experience working closely with users to help define requirements, new applications, and procedures
  • ability to carry out feasibility studies, cost/benefit analysis, formulation of proposals for system enhancements, development, and implementation plan.
  • ability to understand issues from the client’s perspective and monitors services provided to clients and makes timely adjustments as required
  • ability to maintain continuous open and consistent communication with others, supported with relevant data, information, examples, and demonstrations
  • ability to assume responsibility for work activities and coordinating efforts as well as seek others’ input and involvement and listen to their viewpoints. able to acknowledge the work of others
  • ability to liaise with others to ensure alignment with the business goals and vision of the organization.
