Description :Grade Level: L1 Location: Islamabad Last Date to Apply: 10th of January 2025What is Specialist IoT and M2M Solutions?Specialist IoT & M2M Solutions Operations will be responsible to oversee the day-to-day management and optimization of M2M and IoT products and solutions. This role involves product portfolio management, troubleshooting, data analysis, vendor management, and operational oversight to ensure seamless service delivery and the continuous improvement of IoT and M2M solutions. The Specialist will collaborate with both internal teams and external partners to drive efficiency, address technical issues, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations. Reporting directly to the Manager IoT and Managed Solutions.What does Specialist IoT and M2M Solutions do?Key Responsibilities: Manage IOT & M2M Portfolio, the day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth product functionality, reliability, and efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and customer complaints related to device connectivity, data transmission, and application performance. Collaborate with technical teams to provide timely resolutions. Analyze data to identify trends, anomalies, and potential issues within the IoT/M2M environment. Monitor subscriber base, churn, and revenue performance, and prepare detailed reports for management, highlighting key insights and recommendations. Manage and negotiate contracts, purchase orders, and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with external partners. Ensure partners meet performance expectations and adhere to contractual terms. Resolve vendor-related issues and disputes promptly and professionally. Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders for M2M and IoT devices, SIM cards, and related equipment/services. Ensure adequate stock levels are maintained, and deliveries are processed on time. Monitor budget allocation and ensure all financial transactions are handled accurately. Manage vendor payments and ensure timely processing of invoices. Oversee operational tasks related to M2M & IoT product development, User Acceptance Testing (UATs), platform software checks, and implement controls suggested by internal audits and cybersecurity teams to ensure data security and compliance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization of IoT/M2M services and product operations. Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or business administration. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience in IoT/M2M solutions management, operations, or technical support. Solid understanding of vendor management, contract negotiations, and performance monitoring. Proficiency in data analysis, reporting tools, and the ability to derive actionable insights. Experience managing procurement, inventory, and vendor payment processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
