Job Summary:

We are looking for an L1 Specialist with expertise in VMware Cloud, network operations, and DevOps automation to ensure smooth service delivery. This role involves incident management, monitoring, and automating processes to optimize operations in VMware Cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Incident Management: Monitor and resolve Level 1 incidents related to VMware Cloud and network operations, escalating to higher-level teams as needed.
• DevOps & Automation: Assist in developing and implementing automation solutions (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) for efficient deployment and management of cloud infrastructure.
• Configuration & Deployment Support: Help configure, update, and maintain VMware Cloud systems, ensuring smooth deployment using automated workflows.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation and share automation best practices with the team.
• Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps and network engineering teams to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements

Skills & Qualifications:

• Technical Skills: Basic experience with VMware Cloud, network operations, and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins).
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills for cloud and network issues.
• ·Automation Experience: Familiar with infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and automation practices.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills.
• Preferred: VMware certifications (VCP, VCAP), experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), and scripting skills (Bash, Python).

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in VMware Cloud, network operations, or DevOps-related roles.
