Senior Software QA Engineer
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Assists in the development lifecycle of enterprise Web applications using JavaScript, React, Redux, HTML5, CSS, Node.JS, and other modern Web Technology, with focus specifically on Automated Testing.
- Designs, develops, maintains, and executes Automation test scripts validating end-to-end quality, integrity, and usability of Sabre Web Applications.
- Participates in writing, maintenance, and execution of Automation and Unit Tests.
- Performs Manual QA Validation on features not yet Automated.
- Troubleshoots and resolves defects and production issues.
- Assist in release coverage and verification.
- Under general direction, provides complex usability, evaluation and support to product development teams, including the analysis and investigation of applications/systems, graphics, web, multimedia, voice response and conversational user interaction.
- Creates, evaluates and modifies prototypes to support evolving software application development.
- May assist in developing design concept and implementation providing input on user and automation design considerations.
- May assist in development of new application features, refactoring, and maintenance of Sabre Web Applications using React and Redux.
- Develops and applies software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems.
- May produce specifications describing user requirements and internal structures for product in development.
- Demonstrates comprehensive and advanced knowledge of particular field of specialization.
- Exercises independent judgment.
- Applies advanced skills and concepts to oversee large, complex projects, with responsibility for overseeing and directing team members work.

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Work Experience
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in manual and/or automated QA
- Minimum 3 years recent related web application development or automation experience
- Minimum 2 years experience with Selenium or similar automation test framework.
- Web or mobile application development work experience using HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript
- Ability and desire to learn and work with new languages and technologies as needed.
- Advanced computer software development skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple projects.
DESIRED SKILLS
- Manual QA Experience
- Work experience with modern JavaScript and related technologies: Node.JS, JavaScript frameworks such as React, AngularJS, Backbone, Ember.
- Experience with Jenkins or similar automation server.
- Experience with AWS Cloud Technology
- Familiarity with JSON and XML.
- Experience using version control utility: Git, SVN, etc…
