Software Engineer II Java Selenium, Cucumber, C#, SQL

As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Employee Platforms, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Conduct thorough testing of Web, Desktop & mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
• Develop, document, and execute test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback.
• Design, develop, and maintain Test automated scripts for applications such as Web, Desktop applications 
• Develop and execute automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
• Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking tools.
• Design Test Automation framework from scratch
• Hands on performance testing  such as Load runner or Jmeter.
• Hands on experience on API testin and ability to write Jmeter script

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience

• Proven experience in web app test automation, preferably with cucumber or Test NG framework
• Proficiency in test automation tools such as  Selenium,Cypress etc.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java , Python or C#
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket
• Strong understanding of mobile application development and testing processes.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to design Test automation framework from scratch
• Experience with Linux and shell scripting

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies
• Exposure to cloud technologies
