As a Senior UI/UX Designer, you will be responsible for leading design efforts on complex projects from start to finish. Key Responsibilities:
Design Leadership:
Lead end-to-end design processes for both new features and product updates, ensuring high-quality UI/UX design solutions that meet user needs and business goals.
User-Centered Design:
Drive user research, personas, journey maps, and user flows to inform design decisions. Conduct usability testing and iterate based on user feedback to refine designs.
UI/UX Strategy:
Develop and communicate a clear vision for UI/UX design across products. Balance user needs with business goals and technical constraints, advocating for user-centric solutions.
Prototyping & Interaction Design:
Create interactive prototypes, wireframes, and high-fidelity designs to clearly communicate design concepts and interactions. Ensure designs are both visually compelling and intuitive.
Collaboration:
Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation of designs and maintain alignment throughout the product lifecycle.
Design Systems & Consistency:
Contribute to and maintain a comprehensive design system, ensuring consistency in design patterns, components, and UI elements across all projects.
Mentorship:
Provide guidance and feedback to junior and mid-level designers, helping to elevate the overall design quality and encourage professional growth within the team.
Stay Current:
Keep up-to-date with the latest design trends, tools, and best practices. Bring innovative ideas to the team, challenging the status quo to improve user experience and design quality
Requirements
Qualifications:
4+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of digital design work (web, website and mobile).
Expertise in user-centered design principles, interaction design, visual design, and usability.
Strong proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
Solid experience with design systems and ensuring consistency across products.
Proven ability to conduct user research, create personas, journey maps, and wireframes, and translate insights into design solutions.
Experience creating interactive prototypes and working with front-end development teams to ensure design feasibility.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and explain design concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a keen eye for typography, color theory, and layout.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically about design challenges
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with motion design or animation tools (e.g., Principle, After Effects) for UI/UX design.
Familiarity with front-end development languages (HTML/CSS, JavaScript).
Experience working in agile environments and collaborating with product teams using tools like Jira or Trello.
