Job Overview:

We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager who is not just a manager of timelines but a hands-on leader, actively ensuring that our SaaS product development stays on track and delivers exceptional value to our customers. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, and design, to execute and deliver on new features, enhancements, and customer-driven requirements. You’ll be deeply involved in the actual progress of projects, understanding the technical intricacies, identifying potential blockers, and ensuring smooth collaboration between teams to meet milestones and deadlines. This is a high-impact role, requiring a blend of technical understanding, excellent communication skills, and hands-on execution.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership & Execution:
    • Take full ownership of delivering complex technical projects for our SaaS product from inception to deployment, ensuring alignment with overall business goals and customer needs.
    • Proactively manage the project life cycle, including scoping, planning, execution, and delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.
    • Act as a true partner to development teams, understanding their technical challenges and ensuring they have the resources and support needed to stay on track.
  • Collaboration with Product Teams:
    • Work closely with the Product team to understand the vision, user stories, and feature requirements for new and existing features.
    • Help translate business and product requirements into clear, actionable technical plans and roadmaps, collaborating across multiple teams to define deliverables.
    • Ensure product features and requirements are clearly understood by the engineering team, driving efficient delivery through thoughtful technical discussions and iterative feedback loops.
  • Risk & Blocker Management:
    • Identify, track, and address potential risks and blockers in project execution, facilitating problem-solving and timely resolution to avoid delays.
    • Maintain a clear understanding of the progress on ongoing projects and proactively intervene when issues arise, ensuring successful and timely delivery.
  • Ongoing Progress & Status Reporting:
    • Keep all stakeholders informed with regular status updates, ensuring transparency and visibility on project progress, upcoming milestones, and potential roadblocks.
    • Ensure that project timelines, milestones, and goals are met by continuously monitoring progress and making adjustments as necessary.
    • Drive continuous communication across departments, ensuring alignment with product vision, project status, and timelines.
  • Team Coordination & Support:
    • Foster a collaborative team environment by facilitating communication between cross-functional teams (engineering, design, QA, etc.) to ensure smooth execution.
    • Mentor and support team members, providing guidance on best practices, fostering ownership, and improving overall team performance and cohesion.
    • Drive continuous improvement in agile project management processes, helping to streamline workflows and enhance team productivity.
  • Process Improvement & Best Practices:
    • Develop and refine project management frameworks, tools, and methodologies to improve project delivery efficiency, and implement them across the team.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement, encouraging the adoption of new tools and techniques to optimize project management within the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience:
    • 7+ years of experience in technical project management or similar roles, preferably within SaaS product development.
    • Proven track record of delivering technical projects and features on time, within scope, and with a high level of quality.
    • Hands-on experience collaborating closely with engineering teams, understanding technical requirements, and translating them into clear project deliverables.
  • Technical Expertise:
    • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and experience in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) methodologies.
    • Knowledge of SaaS products and the technical architecture behind web-based applications.
    • Familiarity with tools like ClickUpJiraAsana, or similar project management tools to track and manage progress.
  • Communication & Collaboration:
    • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to foster effective collaboration between cross-functional teams.
    • Experience in working with distributed teams and managing remote project delivery.
  • Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
    • Ability to identify problems and risks early, work across teams to develop solutions, and keep the project moving forward.
    • Excellent at prioritization, balancing competing demands, and making decisions that benefit the product and business objectives.
  • Leadership & Ownership:
    • Demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects, drive them to completion, and inspire teams to deliver their best work.
    • Strong sense of accountability and the ability to lead by example, actively engaging in the process rather than merely managing the board.
  • Organizational & Planning Skills:
    • Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, managing multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
    • Expertise in time management and delivering results on tight timelines, without sacrificing quality.
