Job Title: Senior Software Project Manager
As a Senior Software Project Manager, you will lead and deliver complex software projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion, on time and within budget. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring projects, as well as managing project teams and stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage multiple concurrent software development projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
- Manage project risks and issues, proactively identifying and mitigating potential problems.
- Effectively communicate project status and updates to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Manage project teams, providing guidance, mentorship, and support.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including development, testing, product, and marketing.
- Ensure adherence to project management methodologies and best practices.
- Track project performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes within the organization.
- Manage vendor relationships, if applicable.
- Forecast resource needs and manage project budgets.
Must-Have Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as a Software Project Manager, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies.
- Experience with project management tools (e.g., Jira and Smartsheets).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Experience managing project budgets and resources.
- Attention to detail, and ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment
Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
