Senior Software Engineer (Mobile Application Development)

JOB TITLE: Senior Software Engineer

PURPOSE:

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Mobile Application Developer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications that meet the needs of our users. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mobile app development frameworks, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to delivering user-centric solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES:

• Plan and develop mobile applications that align with the company’s product strategy through requirements analysis and user consultation.
• Design and implement mobile app solutions that enhance user experience and meet business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
• Play a crucial role in maintaining the quality and performance of applications through code reviews and testing.
• Review and recommend the use of new technologies and tools to improve development processes and system efficiency.
• Work with key stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate technical feasibility, and deliver optimal solutions.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement designs that are visually appealing and functionally robust.
• Schedule and manage app deployment processes, identifying potential risks and ensuring smooth rollouts.
• Perform troubleshooting and debugging to optimize app performance and resolve any issues promptly.
• Prepare project documentation and manage relationships with external vendors or consultants. Track project budgets and negotiate contracts.
• Implement various development methodologies companywide (e.g., Agile, Scrum) to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Assess the success of mobile app projects and help the team make the most of learning opportunities through retrospectives and feedback loops.
• Help junior developers enhance their skills and knowledge through mentoring and code reviews.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• At least bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any engineering discipline.
• 5-7 years of experience in Software Engineering or similar role, focusing on Mobile Application Development.
• Proficient in iOS app development with extensive experience using Swift and Xcode.
• Strong expertise in Android app development with a deep understanding of Kotlin and Android Studio.
• Thorough knowledge of mobile design guidelines for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience in Blockchain and Crypto domains is a plus.
• Familiarity with developing financial data applications is advantageous.
