This is going to be Multan based position. Incumbent will be responsible for overseeing sales operations, meeting targets and managing distribution channel in the assigned area. Develop close relationship with all the dealers, sub-traders and consumers catering supplies from trade and grow business organically and explore find new businesses and having sufficient knowledge and understanding of products, market areas, trends, opportunities and competitive activities.


Business Responsibilities


  • Responsible to achieve sales targets and growth objectives in its Zone.
  • Monitoring of sales data and keeping up to date with current market trends and customers’ needs
  • Generate and compile market intelligence and maintain the profile of customers.
  • Visits for sales promotion and interactive relationship with Sub trade and their customers
  • Tracking of sales performance of distribution network
  • Ability to complete management reports on time essentials.
  • Be aware of all competitive activities and ensure the counter strategies to retain the business.
  • Self-disciplined and having strong CRM to deliver the value to customers.
  • Give pricing information to management and make recommendations.
  • Create and execute sales strategies and initiatives for Line manager / above manger.

 Managing Performance based win-win business Partnership with Dealers


  • Able to perform in pressure.
  • Deliver results by interacting with different people and groups.
  • Strong relationship building with peers and customers.
  • Ensure smooth sales operations.
  • Coordination with customers and line management
  • Have clear continuous eye on end customers while serving them through the dealers (Sell through not to the dealers)
  • Executing promotions and implanting unique trade business related marketing tools to ensure growth and share retention.
  • Keep tracking market arrivals of peers and reporting for management decision base. 
  • Continuous actions to ensure development of dealer’s team to be able to serve market better on our offerings.
  • Ensuring dealers have capable and right number of resources to maintain optimum level of end customer contact and create value for them.
  • Modernisation way of working with focus on digitalisation to create efficiencies in dealers’ business and interface with customers and Rafhan.

Extending Ingredion Values to Channel partners


  • Take actions to ensure our dealers and partners follow a high level of safety standard as laid out by Ingredion. Replicate Ingredion safety mindset in dealers.
  • Ensure safety trainings and awareness sessions with dealers.
  • On matter related to compliance and Ethics ensuring utmost implementation of Ingredion vision and values and Implement Zero tolerance policy on the same.
  • Develop and coach dealers and their staffs on safety and compliance continuously.
  • Integrate with dealers under the Rafhan Maize/Ingredion culture by creating opportunities for both sides to engage and implementing established best practices within the partners as well. 
  • Explore new avenues and markets by using established criteria to measure merit of potential dealers.
  • Have knowhow and networking in market to be able to tap good potential partners.
  • Continuously analysing data and information to establish need to dealer addition
Requirements
  • Candidate will need to be based in Multan
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in related field
  • Fluent in English, Urdu and Local language
  • Bachelors in Chemistry/ Chemical Engineering OR MBA if the candidate does not have a technical background
  • Having detailed knowledge about the B2B business and distribution systems
  • Proficient enough in Computer, MS Office and Reporting systems
  • Sales experience is essential, formal trainings and education in selling skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrable and successful sales track record
  • Can do attitude to put extra efforts in achievement of sales targets.
  • Basic information of costing and financial analysis to drive pricing mechanism.
